ANPI has an immediate opening for a Loader/Laborer. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor.  We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, has a positive attitude, and an excellent work ethic. 

Hourly wage of $17.54 per hour

Reports to: Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload, bag and unbag, products, clean-up in any plant or area, and perform general labor as required.
  • Operate loaders, augers, bagging machine and other loading or offloading equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and various maintenance-related functions on loading equipment, including but not limited to lubrication, minor adjustments, and minor troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Use various hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) as required.
  • Obtain samples of manufactured, purchased, or returned product to facilitate quality control inspection.
  • Lift, pull, hook-up, dump, etc., large loading/unloading hoses, bags, etc., weighing a maximum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Measure, monitor, and record Storage Barn or Railcar levels.
  • Provide detailed written and computer logs of tasks performed, including Barn or Railcar status, quantities transferred, relief instructions, etc.
  • Operate locomotive switch engines, all loading or off-loading equipment, and forklifts.
  • Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

    The essential functions of the Loader/Laborer occupation provided above represent the general type of task or function to be performed.  In addition, Employees may be trained in other areas or assigned other tasks or duties and responsibilities as required by the work needs of the Company.

Education / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, construction, maintenance or a similar industry preferred
  • Chemical manufacturing operation experience preferred
  • Established stable work history
  • Must be available to work days, weekends, holidays and nights if required

Competencies and Skills

  • Basic computer skills. Specifically, MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Mechanical Aptitude - Knowledge of equipment with multiple logic functions and capabilities requiring specialized training
  • Proven ability to use various hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) to prepare equipment for inspection or repair purposes
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and/or production issues
